Thanks, Marci. Newspapers.com is a terrific resource. For those who don't have a subscription to the service, we include a link to the story in our show notes. To make it easier to find, I'll paste the link here too. Thank you for listening!

Thank you for your kindness in trying to assist me. I'll get my very 'techie' partner to try to fix this situation. Wishing you all the best of the season.

Thank you. It was actually the 1995 article, Ruth wrote on Food Carts for the NY Times.

Hi Dianne. Very strange that the NYT website isn't letting you view that article. Here is the link I have:

https://www.nytimes.com/1995/10/18/garden/movable-feasting-the-best-street-food.html

and this link shows what the print article looked like:

https://timesmachine.nytimes.com/timesmachine/1995/10/18/070025.html?pageNumber=47

Let me know if either of these work.

The New York Times would not let me read the attached article even though I subscribe, ironically. Maybe, the attachments for us subscribers to your newsletter, have to be linked differently? Enjoying them but would like the 'full deal' Thank you.

Hi Dianne. Is it the Brett Anderson / Julia Moskin story you're trying to read? Here is the link that works for me:

LA Times archives are on newspapers.com

Found the article about Nancy's win over Torres and Kumin. Worth reading related stories, including article about Harold McGee on page where Ruth's main story is continued. Cite: The Los Angeles Times 16 May 1991, Thu ·Page 110.

FYI, text implies Madeleine K did her pout while sitting in front row, not on stage as presenter. Which of you is right?
